about knitfest
Originally, I’m from Sweden but grew up in Germany. I’ve been passionate about crafts from an early age and learned to knit and sew from my dear mother. Knitting has always been a great love of mine, but just before the pandemic, I also fell in love with designing knitwear. Some of you might know me as the designer behind the small label Otto & Odie — or simply as the mom of my sweet dog Odie. I also teach beginner knitting classes at the Volkshochschule Zürich.
I'm excited to connect with this amazing community, to keep growing, learning, and sharing our love for the colorful world of yarn.

Pinks and reds are my colors. With an English mum and a Swiss dad I grew up bilingually in Switzerland. My love for knitting runs deep, rooted in the cherished memories of my great-grandmother in England who taught me the craft when I was a little girl. Knitting isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s my passion, a safe place where I can live out my creativity and a way to connect with other people through this beautiful art.
