All YOU NEED(LE) TO KNOW about knitfest

Saturday, November 7 2026, 10:00 - 18:00

Sunday, November 8 2026, 10:00 - 17:00

What are the opening hours?

We have day tickets, weekend, marketplace, workshop and community event tickets. You can find more information in our ticket page.

What are the ticket options?

Of course! The community feeling is incredibly important to us. We will have ample seating and hang out areas as well as a quiet lounge.

Can I sit and work on my project?

knitfest is intended for fiber enthusiasts of all ages, so children up to the age of 12 are welcome to join us free of charge with their chaperone.

Do children need a ticket?

If you are looking to book 20 tickets or more then please contact us via email or through the online contact form. We can offer groups a discount on a case by case basis only.

All group ticket requests must be received at least 2 months before the event and cannot be changed once purchased.

Do groups get a discount?

Our event will be spacious and mainly on one level, however, some vendors, activities, lounges and workshops will be on the second floor. There is an elevator available to get to the second floor if needed (please contact staff at the event). Our venue does have multiple accessible toilets.

If you need parking close to the venue for accessibility reasons, please contact us at least 2 weeks before the event.

To anyone who struggles with crowds we would recommend to choose a Sunday entry ticket as it will most likely be quieter on that day.

will the event be accessible?

We heard your feedback!
We will do everything we can to provide as much light as possible within the location. To be extra sure, feel free to bring a neck lamp. There will also be neck lamps available for purchase at the event.

Will there be enough light for me to sit and knit or crochet?

Yes, you can!
You can book more workshops later by using the code you received in your purchase confirmation of the entry ticket. Enter the code on the first page of the ticket shop. The code allows you to book only a workshop without selecting an additional entry ticket in the ticket shop. Be sure you have a valid entry ticket for the day of your workshop.

Can I book workshop tickets after I have bought my entry ticket?

Entry tickets and workshop tickets are sold separately.
Admission to the workshop only with a valid entry ticket: a day ticket for the corresponding day or a weekend ticket.
All Workshop tickets cost CHF 99. You’ll receive CHF 15.00 discount on your admission ticket for each workshop. The discount will be deducted automatically on the last page of the ticket shop.

How does it work with the Workshop tickets?

We absolutely adore dogs, unfortunately this is not an event for dogs. If you do, however, need a service dog, please contact us via email.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, there will be a wardrobe where you can check in your coat at StageOne.

Will there be a wardrobe to check in my coat?

Yes, Wifi is available in all the areas of the StageOne event hall. There should also be cellular service available in the event hall.

Is there WIFI at the event?

Inside the venue. You will be able to access the venue earlier with your workshop ticket.

Where will the workshops be held?

There will be food and drink stations inside the venue, catered to vegetarians and vegans as well.

We would love for you to support our food and drink vendors at the event.

Will there be food and drinks available?
